We wish to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to the above post which is available for 3 years and based at the Department’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering in Headington.
You will have a PhD in a relevant field together with research experience in stem cell culture and differentiation and cell functions assays. Good biological laboratory skills and experience in 3D cell culture are essential. Good oral, written communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Experience in optical functional assays, neural stem cell culture, culture of neurons and astrocytes, functional scaffolds and microbioreactor technology and microfabrication are desirable. A good publication record would be advantageous.
